Carlene Brennen, author of Hemingway's Cats, signed her book and talked with cat and Hemingway enthusiasts.
Carlene has spent over 30 years researching Hemingway's life and her book is a run away hit with both Cat fans and Hemingway fans alike.

During Carlene's visit ARC hosted a cat adoption and we're pleased to say many kittens found new homes.
The Bookstore also adopted a new store cat from ARC during the event.
This is our new kitty Oliver. He's a seven toed Hemingway kitty and he'll be spending alot of time at the store. |
Hemingway’s Cats explores the life of Ernest Hemingway, the women he loved, and the cats and dogs he befriended throughout his life. His animals often helped him to cope with his failing relationships, deep-seated loneliness, and life-threatening diseases.
