The Covers are full navy blue Morocco. They measure 8½ x 11½ x 2 inches.

The Spine and boards are elaborately tooled and lettered in gilt.

All gilt edges. The white edges you see here are actually the tissue papers between the lithographs.

This is a picture of a typical page. As you can see the pages are clean and bright. The majority of the books pages are this quality.

Volume 1 is the only book showing any interior wear of note, it has some foxing. This is a shot of the worst of it. The majority of the book has no foxing. Only a very few pages have any foxing at all, and most that do are not this bad.
